Blog Post #2
The most interesting post that I have found thus far is from online. The website is called Abovetheinfluence.com. This online source was created by the National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign. I find this online source interesting because it give me so many facts about the topic I am trying to learn more about. This source gives me different names that I can use to talk about the drug, marijuana. It also gives me different facts about how smoking marijuana damages the development of the brain. My favorite aspect of this source is how it takes one side of the argument about the use of marijuana. The National Youth Anit-Drug Media Campaign is against the use of any drugs, so all of the information for this source are negative impacts against marijuana use. As of right now, I am not facing any difficulties with my research. My advise to peers is to be sure of opinionated sources. There are two sides of every story.

Blog Post #1
My research question is whether or not marijuana is harmful to the body. The reason I settled on this question is because it is a very debatable question. What interests me the most about this topic is how marijuana is illegal but at the same time it is prescribed in some hospitals. I feel as if people should care about this topic because if it is indeed harmful, people should think about quitting the use of marijuana. In my research, I hope to find out some side effects of marijuana, both good and bad. I have researced that there are both positive and negative side effects of marijuana. Many people have different opinions on the use of marijuana. From asking questions, I am finding that some people argue that marijuana kills brain cells and others respond by saying that you regain those brain cells every time you go through REM sleep. I think that both sides are valid cases. Right now I am stuck in between both sides. With further research, I hope to find the answer to my question with solid facts.
